BREAKING News!!

This editor,Clif Burnett, was arrested twice recently, once by LPD and once by Lubbock County. Both of those arrests were bogus. The Lubbock County DA has chosen to NOT FILE either charge and notified my bonding company in February that both charges would not be filed. This editor was informed of the February action today. This editor was falsely arrested by City of Lubbock(city hall) and later United Supermarkets(4th&Slide). This editor does hope to return to "investigative reporting" later this year. Local media is refusing to report these "false arrests".

Starting Today

West Texas Free Press will expand to cover the Texas panhandle with those odd stories. lubbock has become so "dreadfully" boring and mundane that it's futile to read several websites and get the same stories from the same angle. Lubbock media is like a "broken record".
