"Doofus" Klein In La-La Land

  Todd Klein now wants the LP&L advisory electric utility board to appoint a "Citizens Task Force" to suggest ways to improve customer service and recommend ways to help low and fixed income customers ways to get energy assistance to pay for the "greed" in the LP&L bills. Mr.Klein has now officially went to "La-La Land" and it appears he may never return to normal.

  The guy in the picture may need a "mental tune-up" ASAP!!

Abandoned Slum Apartment Complex Discovered In North Lubbock

  This is an abandoned slum apartment complex on Baylor St. in an industrial zoned section just north of Clovis Road. It looked as though there were several cars there like it could still have a few residents. The picture is from entrance to manager's office. I saw no human activity when taking this picture.

Another Outage,Another Downpour

  Last night after midnight,early morning,a storm dumped enough rain to fill up all three of my rain barrels. SPEC lost power for a short period of time as well. It appears that the drought is coming and going. Yesterday this editor saw weeds everywhere on government right-away. Mosquitoes,gnats and flies will multiply as these sporadic downpours occur.
