  This editor has been watching the first seven episodes of Have Gun,Will Travel with Richard Boone. It ran from 1957 thru 1963,six sesons. All are on DVD and it also runs on Encore Westerns daily. Such up and coming stars as Jack Lord(Hawaii 5-0),Janice Rule,Charles Bronson(Death Wish),Claude Akins,Angie Dickinson(Police Woman) and Mike Connors(Mannix) appeared in various episodes in 1957. Gene Roddenberry even wrote over 20 episodes and he later had Star Trek. Paladin was actually a travelling "good deed doer". He wasn't a professional gunfighter but very handy with a gun. This editor is viewing Have Gun,Will Travel as well as early Gunsmoke,Wyatt Earp,Bat Masterson and others like Cheyenne. I missed all the 50's and early 60's TV series,I was a "pup" that watched Yogi Bear,Fred Flintstone and other animations.

Elderly Couple Could Have To Sell Home Due To City and County "greed"!

  I thought my 108% LP&L increase was bad..... My dad called me this weekend and his went from a MAXIMUM all time high of $190 to over $550. He is disabled and therefore cannot work, and the money mom makes is barely enough before the increase. Now, my parents, who should be able to enjoy their 'silver years' are considering selling their paid for home because between LP&L, and the rampant appraisal creep that we have in Lubbock, they may not be able to afford living in their PAID FOR home. Something has to be done, or this will be the story for every one of us!

  This story will play out as more elderly are forced to sell their homes and either leave Lubbock or go to "assisted care homes".

Mr.Confused,Ch.11's Dan Jackson

  Dan Jackson has no clue of what reality is in Lubbock. Jackson is now wailing that he doesn't know who to trust in the LP&L "mess". Jackson has long been a vocal supporter of both city and county. Mr.Jackson rushes a camera crew to city townhall meetings and tries to sell city propaganda and has for years been receiving tax dollars advertising LP&L as well as other city departments. This same Dan Jackson has now been booted from Dish Network so fewer people can here his "forked tongue".

The Doubletalk Of Glen Robertson On FaceBook

  Glen Robertson has again engaged in "doublespeak". Mr.Robertson issued a complete blame statement of the "mess" at LP&L on the city council. Robertson went as far as to claim that city council is the final decision maker on all LP&L business practices. Mr.Robertson did not admit that the electric utility board recommended every element of the "mess" at LP&L. Mr.Robertson also issued a statement that "we can't do anything" in reference to the "mess" at LP&L according to an unnamed source at "Coffee With The Mayor" earlier this week. LP&L has turned into "one bad monster" hurting Lubbock,it's image and it's citizens. Robertson has now said two things,it's all the city council's fault and now the city council is helpless to remedy the effects of the LP&L beast. This editor believes it's time for a total recall of the city council including Glen Robertson so the victims of the "mess" at LP&L can get some financial relief.
