　  Executive Committee Meeting – Tuesday, June 11th at 6PM. At the Lubbock County Detention Center (Jail) at 3502 North Holly Avenue not far from the Lubbock International Airport. Sheriff Kelly Rowe will be our host and will give tours of the jail. We’ll order a giant Subway sandwich for dinner ($5/each) so please RSVP to Irene at 806-797-3197, so we can order enough. Plan to attend as we’ll have some updates on how to run the primary (our most important function) and a very early primary season.

> Precinct Chair Vacancy Review Committee – Tuesday, June 4 at 5:00 p.m. in the basement conference room at Lubbock National Bank. In preparation for the Executive Committee Meeting the Precinct Chair Vacancy Review Committee will interview potential new precinct chairmen who have expressed interest in serving as Precinct Chair in vacant positions, and also to review vacant precincts.   This is as "nutty" as it gets. Local republicans are asking their executive committee to meet at the County "gestapo" lockup from their quarterly meeting. the host for proposed meeting will be the top "gestapo" agent Kelly Rowe. The republican leadership wants an RSVP so they can order $5 Subway sandwiches for those who wish to attend. It's unclear who will pay for the sandwiches. This republican leadership has called for a Precinct Chair Vacancy Review Committee meeting to interview citizens interested in running for precinct chair in 2014(next election). Their is no fee to run for precinct chair and that committee meets 4 times yearly. I can't imagine anyone interested in driving to the "gestapo lockup headquarters" to attend an executive committee meeting and be near Kelly Rowe.
