City of Lubbock has now proven they are ill-prepared for even a minor weather event. LP&L bought up XCEL trying to corner the electric market. A "wind event" has now exposed just how unprepared the "high paid" LP&L management really are in case of an unforseen weather storm. I even saw traffic lights dark on a main thoroughfare(Clovis&University) yesterday with no traffic cop waving traffic during peak traffic time at 5PM. Mayor "Country Club",Police Chief "Gestapo" and their feminist city manager should be replaced ASAP as a step in the right direction.
It's time for a change downtown.
