The Death Of Public Servant Attitude at City of Lubbock

  I learned from "DAD" Burnett that working for the government was a "public servant" job. He taught me that being a public servant meant calling people "ma'am","sir" etc. "DAD" did it for 28 years. I worked at LP&L(1 year),Lubbock Airport(1 year) and TTUHSC(8 years). The "Burnetts" left public service in the 80's. I've now learned that creeps like Glen Robertson,Todd Klein,Karen Gibson know nothing about being a public servant. The three I just named had me arrested last year by the LPD "thugs" for simply trying to attend an open meeting. Today's government workers are drunks,dopers,sluts and anything else they choose to be. LP&L workers are as "low as they can go". I've seen city workers shopping on company time,rat-racing in city cars and simply loafing in uniform at local stores. City workers aren't the only "trash" on the public payroll. City workers seem to be the most visible and unprofessional. Being a public servant used to be an honor and duty. Now public servants are nothing more than public leeches. There may be some decent hardworking city employees. I worked at the landfill and the trash truck drivers seemed OK. The problem is elected officials are so tolerant of LPD "thugs" and LP&L "shitheads" that tolerance leads to approval of bad conduct. My home town has become the "Shithead Capitol" with a "Country Club" mayor for a lead "shithead".
