Weeds Everywhere

  Lubbock has been blessed with recent rainfall. As I type just now the clouds are "grumbling" with thunder. City,county and TxDot seem to "care less" about the weeds on the side of roads. The excuses are so plentiful that it's disgusting. Myself and my "good neighbors" voluntarily mow ditches and other places to prevent insects from congregating in overgrown weeds. One can call the county,city codes ad or even TxDot and find the lazy phone operators with countless excuses for not mowing tall grass or weeds. Our government can afford expensive cop cars,overpriced help but can't keep their own yards or roads mowed.
